Synopsis:
It will soon be Burns Night where loads of events and suppers will take place to celebrate the Poet Robert Burns. January 25th will see lots of Scottish Costumes, Kilts and Tam 'O' Shanters being worn. We have looked at a bit of the history of Burns Night and how this day is marked with festivities, Scottish Flags and Red and Green Balloons. We would love to know how you will be celebrating Burns Night.

Now that 2013 is here we dont want you to think that the Party Season is over as there is still loads to look forward to. January 25th is Burns Night and all things Scottish followed by Australia Day on the 26th January celebrating all things Australian with Bunting and Flags. Then there is of course the time for love on Valentines Day on the 14th February where you can spoil your loved one with Heart Candles and Decorations. We would love to know how you will be celebrating these events.

As the Christmas gatherings and non stop eating start to calm it means it is time to get ready for New Years Eve. We have been chatting about how a good New Years Eve Party complete with Party Hats, New Year Tiaras, New Year Decorations and Party Poppers is the best way to see in 2013 and of course not forgetting a few drinks! Today we have realised that it is only one week to go until Christmas! This is always a hectic week making sure that all the Stocking Fillers have been bought as well as Christmas Decorations, Christmas Crackers and Table Centrepieces. Its always fun having a few Santa Hats about as well. When it all comes together though it's worth it. Please let us know if you have a busy week or if you are now starting to wind down.

This years Sports Personality Of The Year is being held at The Excel Centre live on Sunday night. After an exciting Summer of Sport this is the biggest Sports Personality and will no doubt see an Olympian Athelete winning the title. There are twelve contenders and the winner will be decided on the night by a public vote. As it is "Mega Monday" today, the busiest online shopping day we would love to know if you have been Christmas Internet Shopping all day. I will be buying Christmas Stocking Fillers and Santa Sacks as well as Christmas Crackers and Christmas Decorations. Getting the deliveries and hiding them is all part of the enjoyment as well as Christmas Shopping in the warm.

The 100th Royal Variety Show was fimed last night in front of The Queen and The Duke Of Edinburgh. It was held at The Royal Albert Hall and will be aired on December 3rd. Many Stars were performing including Bruce Forsyth, Rod Stewart and Alan Carr as well as One Direction. Having Celebrity Masks and LIfesize Cardboard Cutouts makes watching these shows great fun. The first Royal Variety Show was in 1912 and The Queen was 21 when she attended her first show.
